Spray Dried Detergent Powder Plant

The first Spray Dried Detergent Powder Plant was set up successfully by Milindia’s founder in 1967.

Our Phulka Plant is the result of Milindia’s decades of experience and in-depth knowledge covering Formulation, Optimum Process Conditions, Hardware Design (with in-house manufacturing of the key-elements of the Plant), Automation (covering Process and Safety Requirements) and Detailed Engineering.

The Phulka Plant is designed to produce Spray Dried Detergent Powder consisting of Slurry Preparator, Maturator and Drying Tower creating ‘hollow beads with lattice structure’ (i.e., the Base Powder) which are free flowing, easily dissolvable and with Low - Medium Density.

Extensive modelling using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation has resulted in optimised design of Slurry Drying Tower and Nozzle Assembly.

The Phulka Plant is provided with a robust and user-friendly Recipe Management and Master Control System linked to required monitoring and control instrumentation to enable an automated operation with required safety.

Our team of over 100 Process, Mechanical, Electricals and Instrumentation Engineers supported by in-house Pilot Plant / Laboratory Facilities and a total workforce of 200 Milindian’s are available to ensure the complete success of your project.

  • * The Phulka Plant is designed to produce following Products upto 4 Tons per hour.
  • * Active Matter: 8.00 to 20.00% Active Matter (as 100% LABSNa measured in the Product ex-Final Product Silo)
  • * Bulk Density: 300.00-450.00 GMs/Litre (as measured on the Base Powder ex-Slurry Drying Tower)
  • * This plant can be integrated with Post Dosing to produce Medium / High Bulk Density products as well.
